McDonald’s Korea Halts Corn Burger Sales After Stone Complaints
McDonald’s Korea has stopped selling its Chungju corn cheese croquette burger after customers reported finding small stones in the product. The burger, launched on July 9, 2026, as part of the 'Taste of Korea' series, was pulled from the menu on July 30 following multiple complaints. McDonald’s Korea is investigating the source of the contamination in collaboration with its growers and suppliers. The burger was initially intended to be available until August 12, but the company has no plans to reintroduce it.
