Centro Maria, a residence in Washington, D.C., offers a unique living environment for young women, particularly those interning or studying in the nation's capital. Run by the Religious of Mary Immaculate, the residence provides not only affordable housing but also a supportive community. Since its establishment in 1996, Centro Maria has become a home away from home for many, fostering friendships and offering a faith-filled environment. The residence is located near The Catholic University of America and the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. It accommodates 49 young women, providing them with shared meals, prayer opportunities, and a sense of security.
