Arbor View High School Teacher Honored with Las Vegas Grand Prix Tickets for STEM Education Leadership
Brogen Ripley, the automotive and technology program leader at Arbor View High School, was surprised with two tickets to the 2026 Las Vegas Grand Prix. The recognition, part of the Grand Prix’s Extraordinary Locals campaign, took place on August 28 during a back-to-school assembly attended by hundreds of students, staff, and administration. Ripley was honored for his dedication to educating students in STEM principles and for being named Secondary New Educator of the Year during the 2024-25 school year. Jeremy Walters, Community Engagement Director for Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, presented the tickets, emphasizing Ripley's role in inspiring students in engineering and technology. Clark County School District Superintendent Jhone Ebert was also present, commending Ripley for equipping students with valuable skills for future careers.
