Renton Protesters Demand Cancellation of Flock Camera Contract Amid Privacy Concerns
Protesters gathered outside Renton City Hall to demand the cancellation of the city's contract with Flock Safety, a company that provides automated license plate reader (ALPR) cameras. Although the Flock cameras have been turned off since May, and the city council voted weeks ago to cover them, protesters noted that the cameras remained uncovered on Monday night.
