Extreme Heat and Severe Weather Warnings Issued Across Arizona
Multiple weather warnings have been issued across Arizona, including Extreme Heat Warnings, Severe Thunderstorm Warnings, and Flood Advisories. The National Weather Service has extended Extreme Heat Warnings for several areas, including the Tohono O'odham Nation, Southeast Pinal County, Western Pima County, Tucson Metro Area, and South Central Pinal County, until Saturday at 8:00 PM MST. Additionally, the Grand Canyon Country is under an Extreme Heat Warning until Thursday at 8:00 PM MST, while Lake Havasu and Fort Mohave are under the same warning until Friday at 8:00 PM MST. A Severe Thunderstorm Warning is in effect for Mohave County from Thursday 5:00 PM MST to 5:45 PM MST. Flood Advisories are also active in Yavapai County from Thursday 3:56 PM MST to 7:00 PM MST and from 4:29 PM MST to 7:30 PM MST. Air Quality Alerts are in place for Pinal County until Thursday 9:00 PM MST and for Maricopa County until Friday 9:00 PM MST.
