Phoenix is experiencing a pleasant transition to fall as the monsoon season officially ends. Morning temperatures are starting in the 60s (15-20°C) and warming to the low 80s (26-28°C) by the afternoon. The city recorded 2.46 inches (62.5 mm) of rain at Sky Harbor Airport during the season, slightly above the average. While the Valley remains dry, a flood watch is in effect for northern and eastern Arizona until 11 p.m. due to lingering storm activity. The weekend is expected to bring warmer temperatures, with highs reaching the low to mid-90s (32-35°C). Breezy conditions are also forecast, with gusts up to 25 mph (40 km/h).
