Tropical Storm Marie to Increase Rain Chances in Arizona
Tropical Storm Marie, currently off the coast of Mexico, is expected to bring increased moisture to Arizona over the next few days. While the storm itself will remain over open waters, its moisture will push into the region, raising rain chances across the state. Phoenix is forecasted to see a 30-40% chance of rain between Thursday night and Saturday morning. Temperatures in the area will remain slightly below normal, with highs ranging from 100°F to 103°F (37.8°C to 39.4°C) through Sunday. The storm is also expected to bring increased cloud cover and scattered showers, particularly in the higher terrain areas north of Phoenix and southeast of the city.
