Phoenix Temperatures Rise With Dry Weekend Ahead
Phoenix and much of Arizona are transitioning into a dry and warm weather pattern following the conclusion of Monsoon 2026. Many areas across the state, including Flagstaff, Show Low, Winslow, Sierra Vista, and Tucson, experienced above-average rainfall during the monsoon season. However, high pressure is now building over the region, leading to a warming trend. Temperatures are expected to climb near the seasonal average of 95°F (35°C) this weekend, with highs reaching the upper 90s°F (36-37°C) by next week. Breezy conditions are forecast, with gusts of 20-25 mph, and central Arizona may approach triple digits by the end of next week. Western desert areas are likely to hit 100°F (38°C).
