Revitalized Englewood Homes Offer New Opportunities for First-Time Buyers
In Chicago's Englewood neighborhood, developer Alejandro Sotello has revitalized two vacant 100-year-old homes, creating new opportunities for first-time homebuyers. The project is part of the City of Chicago's Rebuild program, which aims to redevelop vacant properties in disinvested neighborhoods. The renovated homes feature modern amenities such as hardwood floors and fireplaces. Abria Williams, a first-time buyer, recently moved into one of these homes, highlighting the program's success in promoting homeownership and long-term wealth building. The initiative has already developed over 70 homes across Chicago, with 45 more under development.
