Biggs Taps Former Sen. Kerr as Running Mate in Arizona Gubernatorial Race
Congressman Andy Biggs has announced former state Senator Sine Kerr as his running mate for the Arizona gubernatorial race. Kerr, a dairy farmer and former lawmaker, was appointed by President Trump to the USDA Farm Service Agency in 2025. Her selection marks the first time Arizona voters will elect a lieutenant governor, a position created to address succession issues. Kerr's expertise in rural and agricultural policy is expected to bolster Biggs' campaign, focusing on issues important to rural communities. Her legislative record includes efforts to pass anti-abortion laws and involvement in water policy.
