Jupiter Fire Rescue Launches Service, Unveils Ladder Truck Honoring 9/11 FDNY Heroes
Jupiter Fire Rescue officially commenced its municipal service, responding to four calls shortly after midnight on its first day. The department also unveiled its first ladder truck, which features a tribute to FDNY Ladder 10 and the six members who died during the September 11 terrorist attacks. Fire Chief Darrel Donatto stated that the department's initial operations proceeded exactly as planned, a culmination of three years of preparation.
