Los Angeles Regional Food Bank Events Generate Meals for Over One Million Residents
The Los Angeles Regional Food Bank is hosting a series of events, including 'Taste of the Rams,' 'A Million Reasons,' and 'Season for Sharing,' to combat food insecurity across LA County. These events aim to provide meals to the more than one million individuals who rely on the Food Bank for assistance each month. 'Taste of the Rams,' held at SoFi Stadium, offers attendees gourmet food and beverages prepared by renowned chefs and has raised over $1.6 million for food insecurity efforts. 'A Million Reasons' is a star-studded event designed to raise enough funds to provide a million meals. 'Season for Sharing' celebrates community partners who contribute to alleviating hunger. The Food Bank also encourages volunteering at its warehouses in the City of Industry and South Los Angeles, where volunteers help sort and glean food. The organization states that 96% of its revenue directly supports Food Bank Programs.
