Milwaukee Mother Killed in Road Rage Shooting; 18-Year-Old in Custody
A 44-year-old mother, Minerva Hernandez-Lopez, was killed in a road rage shooting on Monday afternoon at 10th Street and Lapham Blvd. in Milwaukee. Witness Jesus Ferreira reported hearing multiple gunshots and attempted to render aid to Hernandez-Lopez, who had sustained a gunshot wound to her face and neck. Surveillance video reviewed by FOX6 News showed two vehicles following each other, with the victim's car backing up before both made a U-turn. Moments later, Hernandez-Lopez exited her vehicle and collapsed in the street. An 18-year-old woman has been arrested in connection with the shooting, and the Milwaukee Police Department has referred charges to the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office. The identity of the arrested individual has not yet been released.
