This offer was communicated to Palm Beach County commissioners by attorney Harvey Oyer III, who represents the golf course. The proposal suggests a partnership with Palm Beach County to create a unique asset for the community. The Trump family owns the golf courses, but the land is leased from Palm Beach County under a settlement related to the nearby airport. The attorney highlighted the course's advanced security systems, making it suitable for presidential use. TIGC would provide all facilities at no cost to the federal government and would fund the construction of a presidential lodging facility on the property. This initiative is described as a 'gift' from President Trump to his successors and the American people, as he would be out of office before its completion.
