Heat Advisory in Effect as Rain Chances Increase Midweek
A strong ridge of high pressure is dominating the weather in West Palm Beach, Florida, leading to high temperatures and heat index values between 105°F and 110°F (40.5°C to 43.3°C). While Tuesday remains mostly dry, Wednesday is expected to bring increased moisture and a better chance of scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms, particularly as sea breezes collide across the interior. Thursday is forecasted to have the highest rain chances of the week, with more widespread afternoon showers and thunderstorms as the ridge shifts westward. After Thursday, high pressure is expected to strengthen again, resulting in warmer and drier conditions heading into the weekend.
