In a post on Truth Social, President Trump lauded Bartiromo as a 'total professional' and a 'true warrior,' stating that her fans would be unhappy with the decision. Fox News Media confirmed Bartiromo's exit with a brief statement, thanking her for her 12 and a half years of service and wishing her well. The announcement led to immediate speculation, including whether Bartiromo, known for her close ties to President Trump, might be considered for the White House press secretary position, which became vacant after Karoline Leavitt stepped down in August. However, Vice President JD Vance indicated during a White House press briefing that he did not believe she would fill that role. Media reports later clarified that Bartiromo's removal was reportedly due to her sharing internal network guidance with the White House in July.
