Two Teens Hospitalized Following Stabbing Incident at Miami Northwestern Senior High School
Authorities in Miami are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred at Miami Northwestern Senior High School on Monday, just before 12:30 p.m. Miami Fire Rescue crews responded to reports of an altercation at the school, located at 1100 NW 71st St. First responders found an 18-year-old who had been stabbed and transported him to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center in stable condition. Additionally, a 15-year-old boy with a cut to his hand was also taken to Jackson Memorial Hospital, also in stable condition. Social media video reportedly shows two students assaulting another student, punching and stomping on his head before fleeing. The school was placed on lockdown as officials searched for the suspects. Miami-Dade County Public Schools confirmed the incident resulted in criminal charges, though no further details on the circumstances or the individuals involved have been released.
