Idaho Waterfront Mansion to be Auctioned for Charity with No Reserve
A 12,782-square-foot waterfront estate in American Falls, Idaho, previously listed at $3.86 million, is scheduled for a no-reserve auction on September 17. This means there will be no minimum starting bid for the property. Uniquely, 100% of the proceeds from the sale will be donated to charity, specifically split evenly between St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and the Mayo Clinic. The custom-built home, constructed in 1995, has been owned by the same individual for 31 years. According to Trayor Lesnock of Platinum Luxury Auctions, the company managing the sale, recreating such a property today would cost an estimated $10 million or more. The estate features four bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms, an executive office, multiple entertaining spaces, a commercial-grade bar, a home theater, a fitness room, and a sauna and steam room. It also boasts 370 feet of waterfront with direct access for boating and fishing, and rare rights to construct a boat dock.
