Bismarck Public Library Hosts Used Book Sale, Attracting Regional Bookworms
The Bismarck Public Library is currently holding a used book sale, offering a wide array of reading materials and other items for a dollar per pound. The sale includes books across various genres, as well as games, DVDs, and CDs. According to Annette Funk, a volunteer, the event has drawn attendees from numerous communities, including rural areas within North Dakota and even from South Dakota. These individuals are seeking affordable reading supplies for themselves, their families, or their small communities. The library plans to reduce the price to $3 per bag on Saturday, with the sale concluding at 2 p.m. This initiative provides an accessible way for the public to acquire diverse media at a low cost.
