Ventura County Board Approves Lease for New Family Justice Center at California Lutheran University
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors has approved a lease for the establishment of the East County Family Justice Center at California Lutheran University. This new center aims to provide comprehensive support services for victims and survivors of violence and abuse, consolidating these services under one roof. The initiative is a collaboration between the Ventura County Family Justice Center and California Lutheran University, reflecting a longstanding partnership. District Attorney Erik Nasarenko highlighted the partnership as an example of effective collaboration between public institutions and educational partners to enhance community safety and strength. California Lutheran University President John A. Nunes emphasized the university's commitment to advancing justice, compassion, and healing through this initiative.
