Burlington Police Arrest Man for Allegedly Pulling Knife on City Market Manager During Retail Theft Attempt
Burlington, Vermont police have arrested Nicholas Hulbert, 38, following an alleged retail theft attempt at a downtown City Market. According to authorities, Hulbert is accused of pulling a knife on a store manager during the incident. After fleeing the scene on foot, officers located and apprehended him less than a block away from the market. Hulbert, identified as experiencing homelessness, was subsequently taken into custody and is currently being held on $10,000 bail. No injuries were reported in connection with the alleged assault.
