Mother and Daughter Injured in Reported Stabbing Outside Cherokee County Chick-fil-A
A mother and daughter sustained injuries in a reported stabbing incident outside a Chick-fil-A in Cherokee County, Georgia, on Thursday afternoon. Cherokee County deputies responded to the scene on Highway 92, near I-75 in Acworth, around 2:30 p.m. Preliminary indications suggest the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute between the two individuals in the parking lot. One woman reportedly suffered significant blood loss but is expected to recover. The mother sought assistance inside the Chick-fil-A, where Acworth police officers were present and provided aid until an ambulance arrived. The daughter, who had two children in her vehicle, drove away from the scene and was later apprehended in Whitfield County using license-plate reader cameras. The children were unharmed. The Chick-fil-A location was closed for the remainder of the day following the incident, which remains under investigation.
