Lingering Showers and Coastal Hazards in Southern California on Labour Day
Southern California is experiencing lingering rain showers on Labour Day, with scattered and isolated precipitation reported across Los Angeles and Ventura counties. The National Weather Service (NWS) has indicated a 5-15% chance of thunderstorms in Los Angeles County. Orange County and the Inland Empire are expected to see drier conditions by the afternoon, following morning showers. Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Marie, downgraded from a hurricane, is moving northwest and is no longer a significant factor in the region's weather. However, coastal areas remain under a Coastal Flood Advisory until Tuesday at 11 p.m., with dangerous surf conditions and flooding risks persisting.
