FBI Adds Michigan Fraud Suspect to Most Wanted List Amid $100 Million Scheme
The FBI's Detroit field office has announced that Darren Anthony Robinson, a man accused of defrauding dozens of Michigan residents, has been added to the FBI's Most Wanted Fraudsters list. Robinson, the founder of QYU Holdings, allegedly orchestrated a Ponzi-style scheme, raising $100 million from investors in the U.S., Panama, Canada, and other countries under the guise of trading in the foreign currency exchange market. Instead, the funds were reportedly used to pay other investors, cover business expenses, and support Robinson's lavish lifestyle. An arrest warrant was issued for Robinson in January 2024, and he has been a fugitive since November 2023 after cutting his GPS tether and fleeing the country. He is believed to have connections in South Florida, suburban Atlanta, Southern California, Panama, and the United Arab Emirates.
