Nevada Democrats Criticize JD Vance's Las Vegas Visit, Citing Economic Policies
Nevada State Democratic Party Chair Daniele Monroe-Moreno issued a statement criticizing Senator JD Vance's visit to Las Vegas to campaign with Nevada Republicans. Monroe-Moreno asserted that Vance and Nevada Republicans' "billionaires-first agenda and reckless trade war" are responsible for the rising costs of groceries, gas, and healthcare, which are straining Nevadans. She specifically mentioned President Trump's trade war with Canada, claiming it is negatively impacting Nevada's tourism economy. Monroe-Moreno stated that Vance's visit aims to "double down on the same failed agenda that has made life more expensive for working families." She contrasted Vance's visit with the efforts of the Nevada Democrats, who she claims are actively working to secure victories in the upcoming November elections, despite Vance's reportedly low approval ratings.
