The Social Security Administration (SSA) is set to distribute the next batch of Social Security payments on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. This distribution is part of the SSA's regular payment schedule, which is organized based on beneficiaries' birth dates. For this month, recipients born from the first to the tenth day of any month will receive their benefits on this date. The SSA has a structured schedule for August, with payments also scheduled for August 19 and August 26 for those born later in the month. Additionally, beneficiaries who have been receiving payments since before May 1997 were paid on August 3, regardless of their birth date. The SSA offers various methods for beneficiaries to receive their payments, including direct deposit and the Direct Express Card, a special debit card for federal disbursements.
