Detroit Man Fatally Stabbed in Hazel Park on Labor Day
A 62-year-old Detroit man was fatally stabbed in Hazel Park on Labor Day following an argument inside a residence. Hazel Park police officers were dispatched to the home in the 1600 block of E Granet Avenue around 5:20 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered the man with multiple stab wounds. Despite efforts to save him, he succumbed to his injuries. Sources indicate that the altercation was between the victim and his girlfriend’s brother. The suspect was arrested at the scene. Authorities have confirmed that the incident is being investigated as a homicide, and the investigation is ongoing.
