Nor'easter to Bring Showers and Thunderstorms to Brooklyn and Surrounding Areas
A series of weather disturbances is expected to impact Brooklyn and the surrounding region from Monday through Thursday, bringing multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms (News 12, 2026-08-30). While Sunday evening may see lingering showers, Monday is forecasted to be partly sunny with a low chance of rain during the day. However, a warm front moving in Monday night will introduce a stretch of humid and wet weather for the middle of the week. The most significant storm activity is anticipated between Tuesday and Thursday, with the potential for locally heavy rain, strong storms, damaging winds, and hail. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out during this period. Boating conditions are also expected to be poor. The weather is forecasted to improve by Friday, with mostly sunny and seasonable conditions expected for Labor Day weekend.
