Branch County Sheriff’s Department Traffic Stop Leads to Felony Narcotics Charges for Coldwater Man
A traffic stop conducted by Branch County Sheriff’s Office deputies last Thursday on Chicago Road near Sprague Street in Coldwater, Michigan, led to the arrest and felony charges for a 37-year-old Coldwater man, Carl Robert Striggow. During the stop, deputies developed information suggesting the driver was in possession of illegal narcotics. The subsequent investigation revealed Striggow was in possession of suspected crack cocaine and methamphetamine. A further search of his vehicle uncovered additional items consistent with the sale and distribution of narcotics. With assistance from the Coldwater Police Department, a search of Striggow’s residence was conducted, yielding more suspected methamphetamine and cocaine, along with other evidence related to drug sales and distribution.
