Florida Man Jailed for Violating 'Super Speeder' Law with 110 mph Drive
A 20-year-old man from Riviera Beach, Florida, named Chris Espinal-Duron, was arrested for driving at 110 mph on Florida's Turnpike in St. Lucie County. The incident occurred near the Port St. Lucie Boulevard exit, where a Florida Highway Patrol Trooper recorded his speed. Espinal-Duron was charged under Florida's 'super speeder' law, which targets drivers exceeding 100 mph or driving 50 mph over the speed limit in a manner that endangers others. During the arrest, it was discovered that Espinal-Duron had an outstanding warrant for negligent manslaughter in Palm Beach County. He also faced citations for not carrying a driver's license and having an open container of alcohol in the vehicle.
