Man Arrested in Cambridge Hit-and-Run Seriously Injuring Child
Jayson Wilson has been arrested in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Cambridge, Massachusetts, that seriously injured a 9-year-old child in July. Wilson was taken into custody on Monday by the Massachusetts State Police Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section, with assistance from the Everett Police Department and State Police technical services. He was subsequently arraigned on charges including assault and battery with a dangerous weapon causing serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of personal injury, reckless operation of a motor vehicle, and negligent operation of a motor vehicle. The incident involved Wilson operating an E-Scooter when the collision occurred. This arrest marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the July incident, which left a child with serious injuries. The Cambridge police confirmed the arrest and the charges filed against Wilson.
