Netflix Star Clayton Conroy Suffers Severe Injuries in 100 MPH Car Crash
Clayton Conroy, a 32-year-old actor known for his role as Padre Terry in Netflix’s 'The Gringo Hunters,' sustained horrific injuries after being struck by a car traveling over 100 mph on April 19. The incident occurred as Conroy was exiting Interstate 10 in Los Angeles after meeting friends. He was rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center with a traumatic brain injury and fractures to his hip and shoulder, and was given a low chance of survival. Conroy underwent brain surgery and spent months relearning basic functions such as walking, speaking, reading, eating, drinking, and showering. His mother, Britt Crennell, described the recovery process as disheartening, comparing it to watching her 32-year-old son relearn skills he had at age two. California Highway Patrol officers arrested 19-year-old Anaheim resident Noor El Deen Amr Soror on August 26, charging him with felony reckless driving causing major injuries.
