Severe Flooding Forces Out of Africa Wildlife Park to Close, Damaging Infrastructure
Out of Africa Wildlife Park in Camp Verde, Arizona, has been forced to close indefinitely due to severe flooding caused by recent storms. The flooding has resulted in significant damage to the park's infrastructure, including uprooted trees, toppled fences, and paths turned into rivers. The park's brand-new fencing, designed to contain giraffes, was particularly affected, with debris and water causing breaks. Park officials are currently focused on cleanup efforts, which involve removing debris and mud to stabilize leaning fences. The park is also seeking donations to aid in the rebuilding process. There is no announced date for reopening as the cleanup continues.
