Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge Hires First Full-Time Veterinarian Amid Calls for Delaney Hall Closure
Woodford Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge in Medford, New Jersey, has hired its first full-time veterinarian, Amanda Cameron, to care for the thousands of animals it receives annually. This development marks a significant milestone for the refuge, which has been operating for nearly 70 years. Meanwhile, the family of Edwin Jeovanny López Cornejo, an immigrant from El Salvador who died at the Delaney Hall ICE facility, is demanding the closure of the detention center. They allege that López Cornejo did not receive adequate medical care while in custody.
