Bear Causes Overnight Disturbance in Colorado Town by Getting Stuck in Car
Residents of Gold Hill, Colorado, experienced a sleepless night due to a continuous car alarm that was later discovered to be caused by a bear trapped inside a parked SUV. The bear, in its attempt to escape, had climbed onto the driver's seat and inadvertently pressed the horn, causing the alarm to sound for several hours. Local resident Patrick Sullivan managed to free the bear by using a rope to open the car door from a safe distance, allowing the animal to flee into the nearby forest. The vehicle sustained noticeable damage, including a deformed side panel and an accidentally deployed airbag. Fortunately, no humans were harmed during the incident.
