Over 9,000 Bones Remain Unexamined in Indiana Serial Killer Case, Raising New Questions
Nearly 30 years after thousands of human bones and bone fragments were discovered at Fox Hollow Farm, the former estate of suspected serial killer Herb Baumeister, new questions are emerging regarding the investigation. Hamilton County Coroner Jeff Jellison, who is leading the renewed inquiry, claims that a key figure in the case, Mark Goodyear, has not been fully cooperative with investigators. Baumeister is suspected of killing at least 25 victims, primarily gay men, in the Indianapolis suburb of Westfield, Indiana. Goodyear, who has described himself as Baumeister's only known survivor, participated in a previous docuseries and claimed to have been forced to watch disturbing videos in 1994, which he believed depicted Baumeister's victims. Jellison has expressed a desire for Goodyear to be more forthcoming with information that could aid in identifying the remaining victims and understanding the circumstances of their deaths.
