North Cobb High School Unveils New Nutrition Center for Student-Athletes
North Cobb High School has transformed an outdated concession stand into a modern Nutrition Center, officially opened on September 11. This new facility is designed to provide student-athletes with collegiate-level nutritional support, featuring new flooring, cabinetry, protein drinks, and food storage, all branded with the school's identity. The initiative aims to fuel student-athletes, ensuring they have consistent access to healthy food, both in and out of season. School officials emphasize that the center addresses broader needs, including food insecurity among students, extending its benefits beyond athletic performance to overall student well-being and academic readiness. Head Coach Shane Queen highlighted the program's responsibility to invest in its players, given the high demands placed on them in academics, training, and competition.
