Scotty's Drive In, a beloved burger joint located on Northgate Mile in Idaho Falls, has reached a significant milestone by celebrating its 60th anniversary. Founded by Jack Magnusson in 1964, the restaurant has become an iconic establishment in the area. Originally a partnership between Magnusson, Ralph Ward, and Harold Greviour, Scotty's Drive In quickly became a local favorite, known for its affordable burgers and nostalgic atmosphere. Over the years, the restaurant has changed ownership, with Scott Lynch taking over in 2004. Lynch has maintained the restaurant's classic 1960s feel, which continues to attract generations of customers. Despite the rise of fast-food giants like McDonald's, Scotty's has remained a staple in the community, offering a unique dining experience that evokes memories of the past.
