Multiple Motorcyclists Injured in Canton Car Collision; Investigation Underway
A severe collision occurred in Canton, New York, involving a car and several motorcycles, resulting in multiple injuries. The incident took place when Nicolas Corominas, 40, of Russell, driving a car, attempted a left turn off State Route 310 and reportedly failed to yield to oncoming motorcycles. This led to four motorcycles colliding with his vehicle. A fifth motorcyclist, Justin DeShane, 34, of Massena, took evasive action to avoid the direct collision but lost control and went off the roadway. DeShane later reported suffering a concussion and amnesia. Two of the injured riders, John Dimick, 37, and Michael Thomas, 21, both from Massena, sustained severe injuries and were airlifted to Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse.
