Longtime Ocean County Official Joseph Meyers Jr. Dies at 63
Joseph “Joe” Meyers Jr., a dedicated Ocean County employee who led the county's Buildings and Grounds Department, passed away on September 5 at the age of 63. Meyers dedicated 44 years of his life to public service within Ocean County, starting his career and eventually rising to oversee the maintenance and operations of county facilities. County officials have expressed deep sorrow over his passing, remembering him as a dependable leader known for his strong work ethic, extensive knowledge, and genuine concern for his colleagues.
