WNY Mother Arrested for Illegally Taking Children Found Living in Georgia Shed
Nicole Koschuk, a mother from Western New York, was arrested after being found living in a shed in Georgia with her two children, Amara and Lincoln Koschuk. The U.S. Marshals located the family following a public request for assistance by State Police in May. Nicole was wanted on charges of custodial interference issued by Wyoming County Court. The children, aged 6 and 4, were found in good health and have been placed under the care of the Dade County Department of Family and Children’s Services until they can be returned to their legal custodian. Nicole is awaiting extradition back to New York.
