Three Men Arrested, Five Guns Recovered in Rochester Shots-Fired Investigation
Three men were arrested and five firearms were recovered following a shots-fired investigation on the north side of Rochester, New York, according to the Rochester Police Department. Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation on Joseph Avenue near Avenue D. During the subsequent investigation, officers approached a group of men around a vehicle on Hudson Avenue. Mekhi Ragland, 20, was in the driver's seat, and Antonio O'Neal, 19, was in the front passenger seat with what appeared to be a rifle. Another passenger, Jaylen Melton, 19, was found with a loaded handgun and extended magazine. An AR-style pistol was recovered from O'Neal, another handgun was found on the vehicle's floor, and a search warrant led to the discovery of a fourth firearm in the vehicle and a fifth inside a nearby corner store associated with the incident.
