Woman Found Stabbed to Death in McLean, Virginia; Homicide Investigation Underway
A homicide investigation has been launched in McLean, Virginia, after a woman was discovered stabbed to death in a parking area. Fairfax County Police Capt. Jason Chandler reported that a man found the unconscious woman next to her car around 7 a.m. Monday. The location is a parking area that provides access to several trails in the Great Falls area, just outside of Washington, D.C. The woman sustained 'trauma to her upper body' and was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities have stated that there is 'no immediate indication that this was a random act,' suggesting that the victim may have been targeted. Detectives are actively pursuing leads in the case.
