RISE Launches Homebase Clubhouse in Saratoga Springs to Support Mental Health Recovery
RISE Housing & Support Services has officially opened its Homebase Clubhouse in Saratoga Springs, New York. This new voluntary, community-based program is designed to assist adults living with serious mental illness by fostering independence and providing educational and vocational opportunities. The Clubhouse operates on an internationally recognized model that emphasizes meaningful relationships, shared purpose, personal choice, and opportunities for members to build more connected lives. Homebase will welcome its first members in January 2027 and is open to adults with a history of serious mental illness, irrespective of diagnosis, income, housing status, insurance coverage, or participation in other programs. The initiative received significant funding, including $4.7 million over five years from the New York State Office of Mental Health and $2.3 million in community development funding secured by Congressman Paul Tonko for renovation and expansion of the facility.
