EF0 Tornado Causes Significant Tree Damage in Richfield, Washington County
An EF0 tornado touched down in Hubertus, a community within Richfield, Washington County, causing extensive tree damage. The National Weather Service confirmed the tornado, which was part of a series of severe storms that impacted southeastern Wisconsin. Residents in Richfield are now engaged in a significant cleanup effort. Richard Langreck, a local resident, described the tornado as sudden and quick, uprooting trees he had planted 45 years ago and blocking his front door. Another resident, Chris Soehrmann, also reported widespread tree damage, with trees ripped from their roots, patio furniture displaced, and her grill missing. Despite the considerable property damage, the fire department confirmed that no injuries were reported in the area.
