Chi-Town Hot Dogs, a beloved local eatery in Clarksville, Tennessee, has reopened its doors after a five-year closure. The restaurant, located on Riverside Drive, initially closed in 2021 following the cancer diagnosis and subsequent passing of co-owner Donna Johnson. Her husband, Dan Johnson, has now resumed operations with the help of Elizabeth Self, a longtime family friend and business partner. The reopening has drawn significant attention, with many loyal customers returning to enjoy the Chicago-style hot dogs and other menu favorites. The restaurant, which originally opened in 1993 after the Johnsons relocated from Chicago, has been a staple in the community, known for its authentic Chicago-style offerings.
