Adams Community Seals Time Capsule for Future Generations
In celebration of America's 250th anniversary, the town of Adams, Massachusetts, has created a time capsule to be opened in 25 years. During the town's celebration, residents were invited to write letters reflecting on current events and their hopes for the future. These letters were sealed with wax and placed in a glass container for preservation. The time capsule will be stored in the town clerk's vault rather than buried, to avoid costs and potential damage from moisture. The initiative aims to connect future generations with the community's past and present, providing insights into the lives and thoughts of today's residents.
