Huntsville Unveils 14.7-Mile Greenway Loop to Boost Connectivity
The City of Huntsville has completed a 14.7-mile greenway loop in South Huntsville, enhancing community connectivity and recreational opportunities. The new extension of the Tennessee River Greenway links several local landmarks and recreational areas, including Ditto Landing and the Tennessee River. The project, which began in September 2025, aims to provide residents and visitors with expanded options for walking, running, and biking, while strengthening connections between neighborhoods and outdoor amenities.
