Big Dog Ranch Rescue to Take Final 155 Beagles from Ridglan Farms, Ending Breeding Operations
Big Dog Ranch Rescue is set to take custody of the final 155 beagles from Ridglan Farms, a commercial dog breeding facility in Dane County, Wisconsin. This marks the conclusion of a rescue mission that began in April, which has seen over 2,000 beagles relocated from the facility. Ridglan Farms has committed to permanently ending its dog-breeding, sales, research, and testing operations. The remaining beagles, including 141 puppies, will receive comprehensive veterinary care before being adopted. The rescue effort has been supported by numerous organizations and donors, highlighting a significant victory for animal rights advocates.
