Sen. Marsha Blackburn Shares Internal Poll to Counter John Rose's Momentum in Tennessee Governor's Race
Senator Marsha Blackburn has released internal polling data from her campaign for the Tennessee governor's race, showing her leading the Republican primary by 17 points. This move comes in response to claims of growing momentum for her opponent, Congressman John Rose. The poll, conducted by Fabrizio, Lee & Associates, indicates Blackburn leading with 42% support among likely Republican voters, followed by Rose at 25% and state Rep. Monty Fritts at 22%. This release counters a separate poll by OnMessage Public Strategies, which suggested a much closer race, with Blackburn at 34.5% and Rose at 31%. The Blackburn campaign initially withheld their poll results but decided to release them after the OnMessage poll was published. Both polls surveyed around 800 likely voters with a margin of error of 3.5%. The primary election is set for Thursday, and both candidates are actively campaigning with new ads and public appearances.
